YOU GOT QUESTIONS?

  • 1. Exfoliate your body with an exfoliating mitt. Removing any dead skin is key to an even, glowing tan. This should be done 2 days prior and then at least 6 hours before your appointment.

    2. Don't forget to remove any old tan. We recommend a TAN REMOVER to do this as it reduces scrubbing of the skin. (Available at both studios)

    3. Arrive at your appointment with NO moisturiser, make up on or deodorant on. We do have wipes available if you need.

  • You are normally in your spray tan anywhere from 1 hour to sleeping in it. Spray tan normally washes off all clothing however we do recommend wearing loose, dark clothing so you do not rub your tan.

Most clients tan with no bra on so wearing something you are comfortable to wear afterwards with no bra is perfect.

The ideal shoe would be a flat/slipper/ugg boot. Anything that doesn't rub the skin too much.

  • Try not to do too much. Sweating and rubbing of clothing will move your tan and potentially leave lines on your skin.

Avoid water - so no washing dishes!

Most colours are natural in shade so popping out for lunch or a casual dinner is fine.

  • Dab with a dry towel and then use a blush brush or Kabuki brush and blend the area. As long as the area is blended, your tan will develop fine.

  • On arrival your tanner will welcome you and chat all things colour! They will decide based on your skin tone, the colour you would like to achieve and when you can wash it off; to what solution they will use. Your tanner may also ask what you are tanning for? An event - wedding or just because! :)

You will then be taken into a tanning room, shown your consumables (Hair net, g-string, sticky feet and wipes) We also have disposable bras if you need.

You are able to wear your own underwear, a G -string or nothing at all. The choice is yours and whatever you are comfortable with is fine with us!

You will be instructed on where and how to stand and our staff have never answered a silly question, so ask away! We are here to help.

  • 1. Have a lukewarm 30 - 60 second rinse in the shower. Please do not use soap in this shower.

Please ensure you gently wash away your bronzer with the palm of your hand. watch the water run clear. If you stand under running water - this may cause streaking and it is super hard to rectify. If you do happen to jump out and you can see streaks on your legs, please jump back in the shower and again, gently rub the area again.

TIP: Washing your legs first from top to bottom is best practice, then rinse the rest of your body.

    2. Pat dry with a towel.

    3. Do not moisturise for 16 to 24 hours after your tan so that your colour can develop. Moisturising your face and applying deodorant is fine.

*After rinsing, the instant bronzer will wash away and the full results will develop within 24 hours. For the first 24 hours only shower with warm water and pat dry. After 24 hours use a moisturizer and gradual tanner every second day to prolong your bronze. After initial application you may decide a darker or lighter result is required - please let us know for next time.

  • Yes, spray tanning is safe for pregnant women. Every woman, body, skin and pregnancy is different so we do recommend you speak with your GP if you are in your first trimester just to have the all clear.

  • Yes! We recommend wiping with a wipe after your spray tan, wear a disposable bra or wearing nipple shields!

  • If you have eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis it is best to patch test your skin before deciding to go ahead with being spray tanned. You are able to book this on our online under PATCH TEST.

Dryer areas of the skin can lead to your tan grabbing in those areas and potentially not grabbing at all due the the barrier of intense creams you may be using to treat.

  • 7 - 10 days if you look after it. Using a gradual tanner every other day to a moisturiser will prolong your tan. Hydration is key as when your dry skin flakes, it takes your beautiful bronze with it.

5 - 7 days if you don’t moisturise and leave your tan to fade on its own.

Be mindful that long showers, dips in the pool or saunas will decrease your longevity. As mentioned, using a gradual tanner every other day will help you get maximum results.

  • Lets be honest, it is our worst dear right! An ‘orange’ looking spray tan is because of two reasons; the wrong shade for your skin tone OR the wrong user.

Keep in mind, your skin undertones don't always play along. A trial is always recommend before a wedding or major event.

We hold over 30 shades of colour and are trained to match the best colour with your underlying skin tone. We have also been tanning for many years so you are in safe hands.

  • Swimming in chlorinated water or salt water can fade your spray tan, causing possible streaking, and will reduce the length of your tan.

However, normal activities such as bathing, showering or physical activities will not affect the quality of your tan. Try to avoid hanging out too long in a hot shower!

  • You will be in and out in around the 15 minute mark. We are here for a good time and not a long time, so you can press on with your busy (or relaxing) day.

  • When Spray tan sees dry skin, it tends to go darker and looks quite fake. To avoid this look apply a light film of moisturiser to the very dry areas of the elbows, kneecaps or ankles only and this will minimise the amount of tan and give you an even look overall. We have barrier cream in our rooms for you.

  • Yes. The spray tan tanning solution has a bronzing colour agent and your skin will be bronzed when you leave, You will have a tanned look instantly, while the DHA and active ingredients are developing the tan underneath during the next 2-8 hours (depending on which type of solution you use). Please note that your spray tan colour can keep developing for up to 24 hours after being spray tanned.

  • Yes, absolutely. A Spray Tan WILL NOT protect you from the sun, it purely makes you feel like you have seen the sun ;)

We sell a beautiful range of sunscreen from ‘We are feel good’. An Aussie made and cruelty free range. You can purchase in our studio or online.

  • Apply talcum powder to all possible areas where you are likely to sweat. The talcum powder absorbs the sweat without marking the tan. Make sure the body is dry when applying the talcum powder. It is also recommended to wear cotton clothing. Maybe consider receiving the spray tan at the coolest time of the day or during the evening.

  • You are able to tan once a week. You just need to ensure you use a TAN REMOVER and an EXFOLIATING MITT to ensure your last weeks tan is off the skin. A small amount of residue is fine.
